Christmas Ball Dance Party 2020

On the evening of December 21, 2020, students at Montverde School of Music held a Christmas dance party at the school. Since 2014, Montverde Shanghai has maintained a tradition of celebrating Christmas. From previous Christmas Weeks to this year's Dance Party, Montverde's Christmas celebrations have become increasingly diverse. This year's Christmas event was a completely student-organized, rehearsed, and planned evening. While presenting a variety of wonderful performances, the students also honed their comprehensive abilities. Every student at Montverde is a talented singer and dancer. From brilliant renditions of trendy songs to powerful arrangements of classic tunes by musicians; from gentle and lyrical vocals to a spectacular bicycle show… every performance reflected the students' hard work and made them shine on this night. Meanwhile, the teachers were also busy, leading the students to experience the vibrant songs and passionate samba of Shanghai. This event was entirely organized by the students themselves, without any teacher guidance, which greatly enhanced their autonomy, management skills, and teamwork abilities. Meanwhile, this event coincided with the application season, so the students had limited rehearsal time, and the performance may not have been ideal. However, each student made time for rehearsals, which helped them develop their time management and organizational skills.
